Dr. Rick Chester
Pharmacist, Naturopathic Physician, & Acupuncturist

Dr. Chester earned his pharmacy degree from Oregon State University in 1980, and his doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1992. He operated an eclectic group practice in Arizona for seven years, and was in practice in the Rogue Valley for four years. He served as president of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association, and has taught pharmacology, geriatrics, pulmonology, and practice management. He received his acupuncture certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and completed a master's in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Albuquerque, NM in 2000.

Dr. Chester feels his background benefits more people working in retail pharmacy where he can incorporate his knowledge of non-drug therapies into a conventional medical environment. In doing so, he provides customers interested in complimentary alternative medicine with first-hand knowledge, helping them to make educated decisions about their health.
