About Us

Medicap Pharmacy of Jefferson, IA has a staff of dedicated professionals. Medicap has been a part of the community for over 25 years. In 2000 Medicap and The Dispensary Pharmacy merged under the Medicap name combining the two stores and staffs to provide even better service to our customers.

Bill Monroe, RPh has been with Medicap Pharmacy of Jefferson IA as Pharmacist in Charge and Co-owner since 2000. Prior to joining Medicap, Bill was Director of Pharmacy at Greene County Medical Center

Make school lunches and snacks nutritious and fun

(ARA) - As kids head back to school, parents are faced with the dilemma of finding foods to pack for lunch and snacks that kids want to eat and that are good for them. Most snacks available in the grocery stores are full of fat, sugar and/or salt with little nutritional benefit, so finding healthy choices that kids are willing to eat isn't always an easy task.
